Down by 11 with five minutes to play in the third quarter freshman Brennan Jarrett started a 27-4 Huskie run, knocking down consecutive three's to spark the home squad. Fifth-year senior point guard Jordan Harbidge scored the final seven points of the quarter, and brought the crowd to its feet as he hit a half-court bomb at the buzzer to tie the score at 61.

The Huskies scored the first six points of the fourth quarter, getting four points from Mark Lynch and a layup from Kyle Grant. That put the Huskies up 67-61 with 8:38 remaining. Jarrett added another three with 3:05 to play, making the score 79-71. Harbidge dove on the floor to steal the ball, and Grant found Jarrett under the hoop for a layup with 1:43 to go giving the Dogs an eight point lead.
