Huskies return home to face No. 5 Dinos

Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Huskies return home for the first time in four weeks beginning tonight when they host the No. 5-ranked Calgary Dinos.

The two Central Division rivals faced each other a month ago in non-conference action at the Graham Construction Shootout, with the Dinos prevailing 79-72.

"Calgary is a strong team this season and this will be a good test for our young players," said Huskie head coach Greg Jockims. "We played strong basketball against them in our tournament and have stayed with top teams in the Canada West so far this season."

Robbie Sihota, Henry Bekkering, Tyler Fidler and Ross Bekkering have led the charge for Calgary. The four are averaging 65.8 point per game. Fidler is the reigning Canada West rookie of the year and Henry Bekkering was an all-star in 2007-08.

Showron Glover has been one of the highlights for the Huskies. The newcomer leads the conference with 22.8 points and 4.7 steals per game. Troy Gottselig is putting up 13.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest.

The Huskies enter the weekend with a two game split at Alberta last weekend. Calgary carries a six game winning streak into the weekend after sweeping Lethbridge.
