High School: Played for coach Don Lockhart at Outlook High School in Outlook, SK... Played four years for the Blues senior squad, and was a three-year starter... As a senior was a captain and led the team to a fifth place finsh in the province... Lost regional final to eventual 3A Provincial Champion Fort Qu'Appelle... Blues won Division and District Championships... Named First Team All-Rural by the Saskatoon StarPhoenix as on of the best players in the province outside of Saskatoon or Regina... Led the team in scoring, rebounding and assists... Averaged 25 points per game... Also averaged double-digits in rebounds... Scored 30 points in regional semi-final vs. Watrous... As a junior was a team captain and led the Blues to the Division title... Averaged 23 points a game... Suffered a severe ankle injury and missed two months of the season... As a sophomore helped the Blues to a third place finish at the 2A Provincial Championships... Team won Division, District and Regional Championships... Averaged 21.5 points per contest... Led team in rebounds... Was named First Team All-Rural by the Saskatoon StarPhoenix... Named team's Most Improved Player... As a freshman helped the Blues win Division and District titles... Lost in the regional final... Played his club basketball with the Junior Huskies for two summers... Will graduate in June of 2004.
Personal: Born October 26, 1985 in Saskatoon, SK... Parents are Dale and Jan Eliason... Has one older brother, Chris, and a younger brother Michael... Coached the Blues junior varsity team the past two seasons, leading them to a district championship in 2002-03 and a second place district finish in 2003-04... Also played football during high school... Is an Academic Honour Roll student... Says the Dallas Mavericks are his favourite team.
