2004-05 Season: Started all 38 games... Was a team co-captain... Named All-Central Division as voted on by the division's coaches... Finished second on the team in scoring with 11.3 points per game, and rebounding with 5.8 per game... Led team with 32 blocked shots... In conference play ranked 14th in steals (1.45 spg) and blocks (0.60 bpg) in Canada West... Was 13th in conference in free throw shooting (.784), 19th in rebounding (5.3 rpg) and 28th in scoring (11.1 ppg)... Became the 25th Huskie to score 1000 career points... Reached the milestone on a layup with 18:41 left in the second half vs. Alberta on November 5th... Awarded the teams Junkyard Dog Player of the Year award, given annually to the Huskie who consistently makes the most hustle plays as charted by the coaching staff... Had two double-doubles... Scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds vs. McMaster October 14th... Was 9-12 from the field and scored 19 points vs. Simon Fraser at Edmonton October 28th... Blocked last second jumper by Andre Johnny to secure 98-96 win over Concordia in final of Golden Bear Invitational... Had 18 points and 14 boards vs. Alberta November 6th... Matched career-high with five assists vs. Winnipeg November 19th... Played 42 minnutes at Lethbridge January 15th in overtime victory... Scored 22 points that night... Set a career-high with 25 points vs. No. 7 UBC on January 21st... Went 8-11 from the floor that night, and 7-8 from the free throw line in only 19 minutes... Scored 19 points on 9-13 shooting from the floor vs. Calgary February 4th... Had 16 points in game one of the division final vs. Alberta February 24th... 2003-04 Season: Finished second on squad in scoring with 11.6 points per game, and rebounding with 4.8 per game overall... Tied for team lead with 0.5 blocks per game, and was fourth on team in assists with 1.4 per contest... In conference play finished seventh in Canada West in free throw shooting (.816)... Also ranked 19th in rebounding (5.3 rpg) and 27th in scoring (12.2 ppg)... Had three double-doubles... Scored 20 points vs. Trinity Western October 25th, his first career 20-point game... Attempted carer-high 15 field goals at Victoria November 16th, hitting seven while scoring 18 points and collecting nine rebounds... Also had 18 points, on 9-11 shooting, and 12 rebounds vs. Lethbridge November 21st... Was 8-12 from the floor, including 4-6 from downtown, scoring 23 points and grabbing 10 boards vs. Calgary January 9th... Grabbed 12 boards the next night vs. Calgary... Had 13 points and 10 rebounds vs. Alberta February 7th... Scored career-high 24 points at Alberta in game two of division semi-final... Was 9-14 from the floor, including 4-7 from beyond the arc that night... Named to the Huskie Athletics All-Academic Second Team, for having at least a 75% average over 24 credit units.
2002-03 Season: Played in all 31 games... Named the Huskies Off-Season Player of the Year for his hard work in the weight room and gym during the summer... Improved his shooting percentage from the field, beyond the arc and from the line from his freshman season... Led the Huskies in scoring three games... Was fourth on the team in shooting percentage (.433)... Also finished fourth in scoring with 7.9 points per game... His 4.4 rebounds per game was thrid on the team... Had a career-high 18 points vs. Calgary January 4th in only 16 minutes of action... Was 8-12 from the floor, and also added 10 rebounds in the victory that night... It was his only double-double of the season... Matched his career-high with 18 points vs. UBC February 7th when he played a season-high 34 minutes... Established a career-high with 14 rebounds vs. Memorial October 26th... Was 3-3 from three-point land and missed only one shot vs Lethbridge January 11th when he scored 13 points... Set career-highs when he passed out five assists and had five steals at Calgary November 29th... Named a Canadian Interuniversity Sport Royal Bank Academic All-Canadian, for maintaining at least an 80% average over 18 credit units... Also named to the Huskie Athletics Royal Bank All-Academic First Team, for having at least an 80% average over 24 credit units.
2001-02 Season: Started 16 of 20 conference games as a true freshman... Named to the Canada West All-Rookie team as voted on by the league's coaches... His 8.9 ppg was good enough for fourth on the team during conference play... Averaged 5.7 rebounds per game, second on the team... Led the Dogs with 17 blocked shots, which was fifth most in Canada West play... Scored his first career points at Regina October 13th... Despite not starting played 37 minutes vs. Lethbridge in his first Canada West game, a 90-69 victory, scoring seven points and grabbing eight boards... Blocked a season-high three shots vs. Calgary November 16th... Had 16 points and team-high 10 rebounds in 39 minutes during a 97-92 overtime win vs. Calgary November 17th... Was perfect from the floor and the line while scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in a 112-94 win over Regina January 11th... Had a season-high 12 boards at Lethbridge January 26th... Led the Huskies in rebounds three times... His steal and left handed thunder dunk at Calgary is one of the season's most memorable plays... Played 28.9 minutes per game, fourth most on the team... Led the Dogs in double-doubles, doing it four times... Named a Canadian Interuniversity Sport Royal Bank Academic All-Canadian, for maintaining at least an 80% average over 18 credit units... Also named to the Huskie Athletics Royal Bank All-Academic First Team, for having at least an 80% average over 24 credit units.
High School: Played for coach Glenn Szabo at Campbell Collegiate in Regina... As a senior in 2000-01 named an RIBL All-Star by the league's coaches... Was team captain... Named team MVP... Also garnered RIBL All-Star honours as a junior... Played for the Saskatchewan Juvenile (U-17) Provincial team during the summer of 2000... Went to the 2001 Canada Summer Games as a member of the Saskatchewan Junior (U-19) Provincial team... Graduated in June of 2001.
Personal: Born February 15th, 1983 in Regina, SK... Parents are Hirsch Greenberg and Joan Patterson... Has one younger sister, Elyse... Enrolled in Commerce... Says the Orlando Magic are his favourite NBA team... Favourite player is Memphis Grizzlies guard Mike Miller.
