2005-06 Season: Has played in 27 games this season... Has missed eight games due to an ankle injury and three to a concussion... is averaging 7.9 points, 1.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game... Hit a three with 3:09 to knot the score at 65 against Regina 03/04/06 in third place game at the Final Four... Finished with 13
points that afternoon, and was 5-6 from the free throw line in the final 30 seconds of the game... Became the 30th Huskie to score 1000 career points against Alberta 02/25/06... Reached the milestone when he hit the first of two free throws with 4:29 to play in the first half... Scored season-high 18 points, on six three-pointers, vs. Thompson Rivers 01/07/06... Also set a school record that game with 15 attempted threepointers... Had career-high six steals vs. Thompson Rivers 01/06/06... Tied his own school record when he hit 12 consecutive three-pointers, first of which came at Lakeland and last of which was at William & Mary... Scored 15 points, all from downtown, at Lakeland 10/06/05.
2004-05 Season: Was a team co-captain... Played in 37 of 38 games... Averaged 8.8 points, 2.4 boards and 2.6 assists per game... Shot .435 from beyond the arc... Scored 19 points on 7-14 shooting in Game 2 of the Central Final vs. Alberta 02/25/05... Had 15 points and seven assists against UQAM 12/28/04... Had 14 points on 6-7
shooting at Lethbridge 11/12/04 in 19 minutes... Was named to the All-Tournament squad at the Golden Bear Invitational... Hit three three-pointers in the GBI final victory over Concordia... Named to the All-Tournament team at the Huskiehoops.com Shootout... Set a school record when he hit 12 consecutive three-pointers, first of which came against Queen’s and last of which was vs. MSU-Northern... Scored 22 points and was 6-6 from beyond the arc vs. MSU-Northern 10/22/04... Also had a game-high 22 points vs. Windsor 10/21/04 , and was 8-8 from the field, including 5-5 from downtown... Had 15 points and nine assists 10/16/04 vs. Queen’s in 25 minutes.
2003-04 Season: One of two team captains... Was awarded the team's Offseason Player of the Year for his hard work in the weight room and in the gym over the summer... Played in 31 of 32 games... Averaged 10.5 points, 2.9
boards and 3.7 assists per game... Led the team in assists... Set a career-high with nine assists at Winnipeg 01/17/04... Was also 9-10 from the free throw line that night... Had 23 points, was 5-7 from beyond the arc and had five assists vs. Calgary 01/09/04... Had a career-high 24 points vs. Cabrini 12/28/03, including 20 in first half... Tied previous career-high with 17 points and had seven assists against Waterloo 10/23/03... Was 5-5 from beyond the arc and 2-2 from the line that night... Scored 19 points and had a career-high ten assists vs. Alberta 10/09/03 in Lloydminster.
2002-03 Season: Appeared in every game as a redshirt freshman... Was a perfect 16-16 from the free throw line on the season... Hit double-figures in points eight times... Led the team in scoring twice... Scored a career-high and team-high 17 points in a win over Lethbridge January 11th... Led the team in points with 15 at Brandon October 19th... Hit a career-best three three-pointers that night... also established career marks with seven boards and six assists in that game... Only missed one shot vs. McGill November 3rd when he scored 12 points, going 3-4 overall including 2-2 from three-point land.
2001-01 Season: Spent the season practicing with the Dogs as a redshirt... Worked really hard to improve his strength and overall fitness.
High School: Played for coach Dave Ripplinger at Archbishop M.C. O'Neill High School in Regina... As a senior garnered RIBL All-Star honours, as selected by the league's coaches... Named the Titan's MVP... Averaged 25 points per game... Also added six rebounds and 3 assists per contest... Won numerous tournament All-Star awards as well as one MVP award... Titan's lost in city semi-final after a 12-3 regular season record... Helped the Tartans finish second at the Luther Invitational Tournament in Regina... Selected an RIBL All-Star as a junior as well... Named MVP at a couple summer basketball camps... Played for Saskatchewan's Juvenile Provincial team in the summers of 1999 and 2000... Once scored 58-points in a junior varsity game... Graduated in June of 2001.
Personal: Born April 9th, 1983 in Regina, SK... Parents are Tony and Carol Lamontagne... Has one younger sister, Suzanne... Enrolled in Kinesiology... Has a massive shoe collection... Enjoys listening to hip-hop music... Lists Quentin Richardson as his favourite NBA player... The Indiana Pacers are his favourite NBA team... Last name pronounced "LA-mon-tang".
