2005-06 Season (Senior): Was named Central Division Defensive Player of the Year... Is a team co-captain... Has started every game this season... Is averaging 9.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game... Scored a team-high 20 points vs. Regina in third place game at the Final Four 03/04/06... Was 7-10 from the field and 5-5 from the free throw line that afternoon... Dished out six assists vs. Alberta in Game 1 of the Central Division Final 02/24/06... Had 21 points, and was 9-12 from the free throw line, against Alberta 02/04/06... Became the 29th Huskie to score 1000 career points against Calgary 02/12/06... Reached the milestone on a free throw with 10:49 to play in the second half... Had a season-high 25 points on 8-10 shooting and 7-11 free throws at Brandon 11/25/05... Also had a season-high five steals that night... Scored 22 points vs. Regina 09/28/05 while also grabbing nine rebounds.

2004-05 Season (Junior): Played in 37 of 38 games... Was a team co-captain... Averaged 9.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game... Ranked third on the team in scoring and assists... Had 19 points against UBC 01/21/05... Scored 15 points in overtime victory over Lethbridge 01/15/05... Had eight assists in victory vs. Alberta 12/29/04 at the Wesmen Classic... Injured his ankle in first half vs. Winnipeg 11/19/04, missed the next game against Manitoba 11/21/04... Had 11 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in victory at Lethbridge 11/12/04... Had 16 points on 7-9 shooting 10/28/04 vs. Simon Fraser at the Golden Bear Invitational... Named to the All-Tournament Team at the Huskiehoops.com Shootout, helped the Huskies claim the tournament championship... Was 10-10 from the free throw line vs. Montana Tech 10/23/04... Scored 11 points and went 3-4 from beyond the arc vs. Queen’s 10/16/04.

2003-04 Season (Sophomore): Was named Central Division Defensive Player of the Year... Played in 31 of 32 games... Averaged 9.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game... Led team in steals eight times, and assists eight times... Ranked second on team in assists and minutes played... Was 4-6 from downtown vs. Trinity Western 02/01/04, and held TWU star Adam Friesen to eight points... Dished out seven assists vs. Calgary 01/10/04... Scored career-high 28 points at Alberta 11/29/03 on 11-18 shooting... Had 23 points on 11-14 shooting against Lethbridge 11/22/03... Was 8-11 from the floor,a nd 5-5 from the line vs. Waterloo 10/23/03.

2002-03 Season (Sophomore): Suffered a broken leg while training in August... Was unable to fully recover before January and sat out the season.

2001-02 Season (Freshman): Led the team in assists twice... Had a career-high 5-assists vs. Calgary on November 17th in a 97-92 overtime victory... Had a career-high and team-high 3 steals at Calgary January 18th in a 86-81 win... Finished third on the team in three-point shooting percentage (.375)... His 11.9 minutes per game ranked eighth on the team.

2000-01 Season (Freshman): Spent the season practicing with the Dogs as a redshirt.

High School: Played for coach Barry Rawlyk at Holy Cross High School in Saskatoon... Played three seasons for the Crusaders senior squad... Won numerous tournament All-Star awards... Helped the Crusaders finish third two times at the Bedford Road Invitational Tournament in Saskatoon... As a senior was team captain... Led the team in points, assists and steals... Named team MVP... As a junior led the Crusaders to repeat as City Champions... Also won the 1998-99 Provincial Championship that season... Led the team in assists and steals... As a sophomore helped the team win the 1997-98 City Championship... Also finished second in the Provincial Championships... Graduated in June of 2000.

Personal: Born October 9, 1982 in Saskatoon, SK... Parents are Val and Lindsay Lovelace... The youngest of five children... Has four older brothers, Errol, Pat, Richard and Steve... Brother Rich played two season for the Huskies in the mid-90's, before transferring to Brandon University... Rich led the country in three-point percentage as a senior in 1998-99... Enrolled in Arts & Science... Says his two favourite players are Ray Allen of Milwaukee and Mike Bibby of Sacramento.
