Huskies: Ryan committed to the Dogs in April of 2003... A great athlete, his versatility as a player might be his best quality, as he could potentially play four positions... Has outstanding floor-vision, and is a very good passer... Can shoot from three-point range or play in the post... Can also go over top of people and dunk it... Huskie fans will enjoy watching him wear the Green & White. High School: Played for coach Scott Ferguson, a former Huskie forward, at Mount Royal Collegiate in Saskatoon... Played three seasons with the senior squad... As senior was the Mustangs captain... Led the team in scoring and rebounding... Selected as the team's Most Valuable Player... Finished second in the city with 20.8 points per game... Named Second Team All-City by the Saskatoon Star Phoenix... Best point total for one game was 39... As a junior helped the Mustangs finish fourth in the city... Led the team in rebounding and blocked shots... Season best was 34 points in one game... Best game as a sophomore was a 30-point outing... Played his club basketball for the Junior Huskies... Graduated in June of 2003. Personal: Born March 23, 1985 in Saskatoon, SK... Parents are James and Heather Lynchuk... Has three older brothers, Justin, Ian and Colin... Attended the same high school as Huskie head coach Greg Jockims... Says Dirk Nowitzki is his favourite player... The Dallas Mavericks are his favourite NBA team.
