Huskies: Jemahl is a hard-nosed defender and a quick slashing perimeter man... After redshirting a year, he has earned his chance to take his game into the Canada West battles... Has learned to fully understand the need to look after his body in the offseason, and it has shown with excellent improvements and a high overall ranking in the team fitness testing... 2001-01: Spent the season practicing with the Dogs as a redshirt... Was named to the Huskie Athletics Royal Bank All-Academic Second Team, for having an average of at least 75% over a minimum of 24 credit units for the academic year.

High School: Played for coach Glenn Szabo at Campbell Collegiate in Regina... Played three years for the Tartans senior squad... Won numerous tournament All-Star awards... As a senior was named an RIBL All-Star by the league's coaches... Led the Tartans in scoring... Tartans lost in the city semi-final... As a junior was named an RIBL East Division All-Star as selected by the league's coaches... Led the team and finished second in the RIBL in scoring with over 22 ppg... Tartans lost out in the city semi-final... Helped the Tartans finish second at the Luther Invitational Tournament in Regina... As a sophomore helped the Tartans capture the 1996-97 Provincial Championship... Were city-finalists that year as well... Teamed up with current Huskie guard Seth Lang in the Tartans starting backcourt for two seasons... Played on the Saskatchewan Juvenile (U-17) Provincial Team in the summer of 1997... Represented Saskatchewan at the Junior (U-19) National Championships during the summer of 2000... Graduated in June of 1999.
